Compared with other similar products, what are the advantages of pulse wave detection?
The pulse wave detection method is that the detection equipment emits pulse waves at a fixed working frequency intermittently. When detecting the echo signal, it processes it within a specific time period. Various noise signals in other time periods have no impact on the system, thus naturally reducing the degree of interference from noise. In addition, in the pulse wave emission and reception detection process, we adopted the mean matching algorithm to automatically track the influence of material effects and adjust the system zero point in real time to ensure that the system will not be affected by zero drift.
Why can it be used on the steel wire conveyor belt?
Because our metal detector uses the balanced coil technology. Two transmitters and one receiver are employed. The space between the transmitting coil and the receiving coil forms a uniform electromagnetic field. When the steel wire belt passes through this electromagnetic field, it will generate certain eddy currents. However, the value of these eddy currents is fixed. The voltages of the two positive and negative connected receiving coils cancel each other out, resulting in a nearly zero balanced voltage. Our main unit can automatically track and correct the zero drift, ensuring the stability of the zero point. Therefore, the steel wire conveyor belt has no impact on our equipment.
What about the steel wire joint part?
The steel content of the steel wire joint part is twice the normal amount. Therefore, we have added an automatic identification device for the steel wire joint at the joint part, which can automatically identify the steel wire joint. The traditional method is to not conduct any detection at the joint part at all, resulting in certain detection blind areas. Our detection equipment, however, will use independent control parameters for detection at the joint part. It is equivalent to setting a new detection threshold based on the joint signal, thereby avoiding the influence of the joint signal while still maintaining the system's certain detection capability.
Can the equipment achieve remote monitoring and automatic recording of alarm events?
Our equipment supports the MODBUS fieldbus and can communicate with the on-site DCS or PLC system through the communication interface. It can obtain real-time information about the equipment's working status in the upper computer, enabling remote real-time monitoring of the equipment. At the same time, functions such as alarm recording can be designed in the upper computer.
