Our equipment has the functions of detecting metal, large pieces of metal, and long rods of metal. Each type has its own separate alarm signal output, which makes it convenient for users to adopt different processing strategies according to production needs. For example: The metal alarm signal is linked with the electromagnetic iron remover. When metal is detected, the electromagnetic iron remover is powered on to complete the metal removal action. Usually, the electromagnetic iron remover does not consume electricity. When large pieces of metal are detected, the electromagnetic iron remover cannot remove the metal, and when long rods of metal are detected, there is a risk of damaging the belt. At this time, the corresponding output signal can be linked to the belt conveyor control system to perform a shutdown operation. Thus, while maintaining normal production, it not only reduces energy consumption but also ensures equipment safety.
Compared with other similar products, what are the advantages of pulse wave detection?
The pulse wave detection method is that the detection equipment emits pulse waves at a fixed working frequency intermittently. When detecting the echo signal, it processes it within a specific time period. Various noise signals in other time periods do not affect the system, thus naturally reducing the degree of interference from noise. In addition, in the pulse wave emission and reception detection process, we adopted the mean matching algorithm to automatically track the influence of material effects and adjust the system zero point in real time to ensure that the system will not be affected by zero drift.
Why can it be used on the steel wire conveyor belt?
Because our metal detector uses the balanced coil technology. Two transmitters and one receiver are employed. The space between the transmitting coil and the receiving coil forms a uniform electromagnetic field. When the steel wire belt passes through this electromagnetic field, it will generate certain eddy currents. However, the value of these eddy currents is fixed. The voltages of the two positive and negative connected receiving coils cancel each other out, resulting in a nearly zero balanced voltage. Our host can automatically track and correct the zero drift, ensuring the stability of the zero point. Therefore, the steel wire conveyor belt has no impact on our equipment.
